New Academic Year 2020 - 2021

The First Term commenced on Thursday 6 August with full day Online Learning lessons for all classes from Pre-Nursery to O Levels.
All the subjects are taught including physical education, music, art and activities as best as can be managed. The school ensures that students keep up with the prescribed curriculum. Textbooks and notebooks have been provided so that students get sufficient reading and writing practice at home.
The whole Online Learning experience is a somewhat stressful one for students and their parents as well as for the teachers. It will take some time to develop a culture for Online Learning. For this patience and following the rules are crucial.
Parents’ feedback and suggestions have proved to be very helpful.
There are problems caused mainly by power breakdowns and internet connectivity. Other issues are shortage of devices, lack of suitable space, distractions and noise. Furthermore children are not following mealtime and bedtime routines so find it difficult to wake up early, have breakfast and be prepared to learn. With time most of these issues will be overcome.
